We Won’t Exercise To Save Our Lives

“Almost two-thirds of adults admit to not exercising enough, according to a survey by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. These people are leaving themselves at greater risk of cancer, heart disease and strokes. Yet the British Heart Foundation has found that one person dies every 15 minutes from physical inactivity. The charity found that six out of 10 Britons would not be motivated to exercise more even if their lives depended on it. More than a third of respondents said they did not take regular exercise because they were too busy. A quarter said they felt too tired or unwell.”
