“The American Diabetes Association (ADA) Tour de Cure 2009 will be held on Saturday May 9, 2009, at the Glenwood Community Center (2400 Route 97 Cooksville, Maryland 21723). This is a fund-raising cycling ride (not a race) to raise money for the ADA. There are three cycling distances to choose from below:
62 Miles - check in at 7:15 am and start at 8:00 am
31 Miles - check in at 8:30am and start at 9:15am
10 Miles - check in at 9:30am and start at 10:30am
The registration fee is $25.00 and all cyclists must raise a minimum of $150.00 to participate in the race. If you would like to speak to someone directly, please call 1-888-DIABETES.
The Gold's Fantastic Five team is comprised of five different Gold's Gym's locations members, staff, friends, and family who are coming out to raise money for the ADA. If you are looking to join a team or would like to donate money, please go to the following website: Gold's Fantastic 5 You do not need to be a member of any of the gyms to participate, all are welcome to join the team to raise money and participate in a healthy event!”
