The expensive exercise joint promised New Yorkers free yacht rides and golf outings if they joined last spring, but then socked members with fat fees hidden in fine print - a no-no under city rules, according to the Department of Consumer Affairs. Now the club faces $20,000 in fines and must tell 5,600 members this week that they can cancel their contract without any penalty - a move that could cost $150,000, DCA estimated.”...
