“The case against an Alton man who pleaded guilty to charges of unfair or deceptive trade practices for misappropriating health club membership deposits has been settled. The case had been scheduled to go to trial on Wednesday in a lawsuit filed by the former business partners of Steven J. Borghi, 45, of 70 Timber Ridge Road, but Borghi's lawyer told officials at Belknap County Superior Court that the case had been resolved and did not need to proceed.
