“The newly established Sensus Health Club called on its members and supporters for a walkathon and spinning fundraiser last Saturday morning in support of the BVI Haitian Disaster Relief Effort (BVI HDRE). At the end of an eight mile walk and two hour spin session, participants raised just under $1500. Managers of Sensus, Lisa Adamson and Kate Jackson also made a donation on behalf of the club, to bring the total funds raised to $2,000. Vice President of the BVI Haitian Association, Martine Mompoint said the contribution is greatly appreciated. ‘We are very thankful for the efforts of the managers of Sensus as well as the gym's members. Their contribution will go a very long way in making the lives of residents of Les Cayes, Haiti a little easier after the devastation left by the earthquake.’”...
