Local Tennis Pro Speaks At Tennis Convention

“Randy Mattingly, director of Tennis at The Clubs of Kingwood, was recently featured as a speaker at this year’s USPTA Northern California Division Annual Spring Conference held at Stanford University. Other featured speakers included Rick Macci, award-winning tennis coach of Venus and Serena Williams and Tracy Austin, tennis legend. Mattingly is currently vice president of the USPTA and serves as chairman of the Technology, IHRSA, Sports Marketing and Junior Circuits committees. Mattingly has been the tennis director at several prestigious clubs in Texas and had hosted professional exhibitions featuring tennis greats such as Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert. He has held numerous No. 1 rankings as well as National rankings. He is a past recipient of the Player of the Year and Professional of the Year awards in the Texas division.”
