Boston Sports Clubs Employee to Embark on a Run across America Inspiring People to Pave Their Lane

“On March 29th, Katie Visco, a passionate-driven 23 year old front desk associate at Boston Sports Clubs’ Davis Square location embarked on a 3,200 mile run across the nation which began in Boston, MA and will end in San Diego, CA. The nine-month journey titled “Pave Your Lane” is a mantra Katie follows representing the idea of finding your passion, and pursuing it. She is using her run as a bold example of how she is paving her lane by taking one of her deep passions and applying it to this creative voyage. ‘By running across America, I will exemplify this mantra to the world, shining a light on the importance of following your hopes and aspirations.’ Katie will make pit-stops in different cities such as Providence, RI, New York, NY, Chicago, IL and Albuquerque, NM among others, to speak at local schools and events, with running clubs, community groups, and individuals about the importance of following your dreams and achieving your life long goals, all while doing good in the world. Those who are moved by this courageous act and would like to participate are encouraged to join Katie in stride. ‘Pave Your Lane inspires the pursuit of dreams, and empowers mind and heart-fueled passion and action,’ says Katie Visco. ‘By running across America, I will exemplify this mantra to the world, shining a light on the importance of following your hopes and aspirations.’ As part of her journey, Katie will promote and support Girls on the Run ®, a non-profit prevention program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Their curricula address all aspects of girls' development - their physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual well-being. She will fundraise for the organization and meet up with local Girls on the Run chapters along the way to run and speak with the girls.
