Bannatyne's Ingleby Barwick Members' Pedal Power In Aid Of Troops

“Bannatyne's Health Club members Nigel Morris and George Rock are taking on a 1,000 mile charity cycle ride in support of British service people. The pair has been using their membership of the Ingleby Barwick-based health club as part of their preparation for 'Riding for the Troops'. Joining a team of 10 other riders, Nigel and George will cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats on May 23, pictured Bannatyne's Tom Carter, with Riding for the Troops participants George Rock and Nigel Morris. Riding for the Troops is supporting British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association (BLESMA). BLESMA supports service people whose lives have been affected by the aftermath of combat. In addition to their regular exercise programmes at Bannatyne's, the pair has been taking extra Spinning classes using special studio-based exercise bikes, which have a tension controlled wheel to replicate road riding. The former servicemen have also been cycling up to 260 road miles a week with the rest of the team in the build up to the challenge.”
