As reported July 1st, IHRSA and CCD have worked to secure the introduction of legislation that aims to address industry concerns about the enactment of Senate Bill 702 (SB 702). The new law requires health club day care employees to clear a background check through the state-administered TrustLine registry. That legislation, Senate Bill 1196 (SB 1196), would clarify that only health club employees ages 18 and over would be subject to the new rule, set to go into effect on January 1, 2011...
