“Bannatyne Fitness, the Darlington-based national health club operator, is investing more than £700,000 at four of its sites in the region. The company is making the investment in new cardiovascular exercise equipment at its clubs in Coulby Newham, Darlington, Ingleby Barwick and Durham. The investment is part of the new four-year agreement with Technogym, signed last year, for the manufacturer to continue to be Bannatyne’s exclusive supplier of fitness equipment. As part of the agreement, Technogym will supply Bannatyne’s with a mixture of strength, free weight and cardiovascular equipment exclusively until 2013.”
